Italy's Comau longs for Silicon Valley, and becomes an innovation and automation partner for Intrinsic, headed by the Alphabet Group, parent company of giant Google. The collaboration focuses on the development of an innovative software platform and aims to develop a "democratic" model of automation, with simplified access for those sectors accelerating on the technology front. Comau, a national champion in robotics and automation and part of the Stellantis Group, and Intrinsic announced in a joint call the industrial partnership, which is a first in the world of automation, with the goal of making robots increasingly smart and intelligent, facilitating their programming. Comau is already using Intrinsic's "Flowstate" software platform, which provides a simplified programming interface based on artificial intelligence. Pietro Gorlier, CEO of Comau, explained the agreement together with the CEO of the U.S. partner, Wendy Tan White.
