Valentino men's fashion show will inaugurate the Milan Fashion Week, scheduled for June 16-20, 2023. The event will feature 22 physical and 5 digital fashion shows, 30 presentations, four presentations by appointment and 11 events for a total of 72 meetings. Closing the round of physical fashion shows will be Zegna on Monday, June 19, while the following day will be dedicated to digital content (presented on CNMI's platform) from the brands Carnet-Archive, Gams Note, Maragno and Uni Form. Parading first on the calendar will be the Andersson Bell brand, while among the presentations, Maccapani, Maison Laponte, Marcello Pipitone-Bonola, Mcm, Setchu and Skin of Nature will debut. Neil Barrett brand will return to the shows, while among the presentations, there will be the return of Ralph Lauren-Purple Label. This year, in conjunction with the Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection in June, the Fashion Film Festival Milano, an international fashion and culture event founded and directed by Constanza Etro, celebrates its 9th edition with numerous physical and digital events from June 12 to 19. Looking at industry data, for the Italian fashion industry, the conclusion of 2022 was positive. In the 4th quarter of 2022, turnover grew 15.3 percent year-on-year, +15.8 percent in "core" sectors (textiles, leather clothing, leather goods and footwear) and +14.1 percent in related sectors (beauty, jewelry and costume jewelry, eyewear). The start of 2023 confirmed the positive trend with sales growth of 14.4% year-on-year, compared to the first two months of 2022.
