A group of protesters today prevented Eugenia Roccella, Minister for Equal Opportunities and the Family, from presenting her book "Una famiglia radicale" ("a radical family", in English) recently published by Rubbettino, at the Turin Book Fair. At the Arena Piemonte, where the Minister of the Family had been invited to speak, activists from Extinction Rebellion, feminists from "Non una di Meno" organized the protest. The intervention of Nicola Lagioia, the Salone's outgoing director, who tried in vain to appease the spirits, was futile. Eugenia Roccella's book reconstructs the minister's family history, which is inextricably intertwined with the political history of the country due to the fact that the minister's father, Franco Roccella, was among the founders of the Radical Party, a party in which the minister fought alongside his mother, Wanda Raheli.
