"There is not only an astronaut career, but there are many other job opportunities in space activities for young people." This is what Paolo Nespoli, an earlier European Space Agency astronaut, tells us on the eve of his participation in "Fly Future 2023," the second edition of the orientation and information event for young people looking for a job in the aviation and space sectors. "Many young people ask me how to become an astronaut, but it is a difficult choice because there are very few places," Nespoli explains. "However, for those interested in working in space activities, there are hundreds of companies, even in Italy, looking to hire engineers and technicians to design satellites, spacecraft, launchers, or even future human missions to the Moon."
