Dramatic episode last night in Sant'Anastasia, in the province of Naples. At least ten shots were fired by two people in a busy square; the shots wounded three people, father, mother, and 10-year-old daughter. Fragments from some of the bullets, exploded at eye level, reached the mother-wounding her in the abdomen-and the girl, who was seriously wounded in the head. The girl underwent delicate surgery and is still hospitalized in critical condition at the Santobono Children's Hospital in Naples. According to the reconstruction of investigators, a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old men (already detained by law enforcement), aboard a moving scooter allegedly fired the shots using a revolver and a machine gun, weapons first flaunted by the two young men with an aggressive attitude and then used in a later passage aboard the scooter firing toward the square. The family involved was intent on consuming ice cream outside a café.
