An extraordinary catch in Italy: a "monster" in the Po river, in the province of Mantua. It is a huge catfish of 285 centimetres in length, 4 more than the now old world record of the longest one. It was Alessandro Biancardi who captured it, and then released it, after 23 years of research and 43 minutes of strenuous fight with the animal. The fisherman himself shared the capture on social media. On the web, someone seems to have complained about the decision to release the fish, as it would not be a native species and would pose a threat to local fauna.
