"I'm weary of relating to a world, that of Italian theaters, that is a bit dated. Tickets seems to be purchased only by the brave, which puts them one step ahead of us. It is an industry that is contracting while the public is demanding something else." These are the comments of Massimo Romeo Piparo, artistic director of the Sistina, on the sidelines of the introduction of the Sistina Chapiteau, a remarkable innovation developed and constructed by Piparo for staging the great shows of the Temple of Italian musical comedy across the national territory. The Sistina Chapiteau will be put up in a central location, the Scalo Farini, and will premiere with "CATS" on December 13th. "After Milan, in the spring or early summer, we intend to travel to Salento," explains Piparo, emphasizing that the initiative "must give the impression of being a schedule."
