"The bridge built, which will remain for years and years, will cost less than half of what Italians paid for the Citizenship Income". These are the words of Matteo Salvini, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, who yesterday attended the event "The Strait Bridge. Infrastructure and transport to unite Italy", organized in Messina by trade unions. "It will be a green work," Salvini added, "there will be no emissions of thousands of tons of pollutants into the air and water. The Minister said he "strongly believes" in the project and that it "will bring jobs and create wealth". "So," he remarked, "to say 'no' prejudicially to an infrastructure that will bring jobs to lands that are hungry for them seems disrespectful to the members of a union force".
