On November 26, two years ago, the Quirinal Treaty was signed in Rome, which from its first article provides for "the implementation of joint training initiatives" for diplomats. This was said by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, at the Italian Embassy in Paris, where he met yesterday with some young Italian and French diplomats. Mattarella said he was "delighted" with the meeting. "For me it is a double occasion," Mattarella continued, "to get to know you and to celebrate the solidity of relations between France and Italy, emphasizing the fundamental role of young diplomats in promoting constructive dialogue between nations.
