The Lamborghini driven by YouTuber Matteo Di Pietro was traveling at more than 120 kilometers per hour last 14th, just before the impact with the Smart Forfour in which little Manuel died in the accident. This is what emerges from the order in which Rome's preliminary investigation judge Angela Gerardi ordered house arrest for Di Pietro, the young man under investigation for aggravated road homicide and injuries who was driving the Lamborghini SUV. Both the mother and 4-year-old sister of Manuel were also injured in the accident. Examination of data from the SUV's GPS shows that the Lamborghini was traveling at 145 mph before it took the route where the accident occurred, "reaching a speed of 124 mph in just 14 seconds immediately before the impact". Also confirming the speed is the testimony provided to investigators by the bus driver who was passing by at the time.
