The Amerigo Vespucci ship's circumnavigation will begin on July 1 from the port of Genoa, during which the Navy sailing vessel will serve as an ambassador for Made in Italy. The initiative will combine the traditional training activity of the official candidates with the promotion of Italian excellence in the ports that Vespucci will visit during its two-year circumnavigation of the globe. As the ship sailes out of the Gulf of Genoa, the Frecce Tricolori will fly past to seal the departure.
