According to the French website "Le Liste" directed by Hèlène Pietrini, former director of the prestigious international guide "The World's 50 Best Restaurants", the Hotel Cipriani on the island of Giudecca in Venice is the best in the world. The hotel, which was purchased by the LVMH group's Belmond Hotel in 2019, is also frequented and loved by celebrities: it's no coincidence that it was chosen for George Clooney and Amal Ramzi Alamuddin's wedding lunch in 2014. To attract the famous names, the extra-luxury environment and the attractive force of Venice, a tourist destination capable of catching tourist flows from all over the world. "Great news - comments the Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè - This demonstrates not only our prowess as world leaders in hospitality, but also the power of Made in Italy as a brand that can attract tourists from all over the world by providing quality services. This recognition is therefore an opportunity to increase the country's visibility and a reason to attract tourists. This is why, as already envisaged in the guidelines of the 2023-2027 Strategic Tourism Plan, we must invest more and more in the quality level of the structures." In the ranking of the French site, the Cipriani Hotel is followed by the Peninsula of Chicago in the USA, the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal in Mexico and the Cheval Blanc St-Barth in France.
