Moncler's first half ended June 30 with revenues of 1.1 billion euros. For the luxury player (down jackets, accessories, apparel), this result marks the crossing of the billion euro threshold for the first time in half a year, and a 24 percent growth on the 918.4 million euros totaled in the first half of 2022. Revenue thus beats, albeit by a little, the consensus previously provided by the company, Reuters reports, set at 1.12 billion euros. The group posted a net profit of 145.4 million euros in the first half, compared to 211.3 million euros in 2022, which "included an extraordinary tax benefit of 92.3 million euros for the realignment of the tax value of the Stone Island brand," Moncler recalls. "For the first time in our history," comments Remo Ruffini, chairman and CEO, "the group's revenues exceeded the one billion euro threshold in the first half of the year. This is an important result that makes me proud and testifies to the great teamwork and innovative, always customer-oriented approach that define our group".
