A 30th of July that Ducatisti and all WorldSBK fans will remember forever. Alvaro Bautista (Ducati), already Superbike World Champion in 2022, captures his fifty-first victory in WorldSBK and his eighteenth victory of the season (an absolute record for the competition) by reacting in an extraordinary manner to a difficult Saturday and regaining a 74-point advantage over Razgatlioglu (Yamaha) in the standings. After regaining 11 positions in the Superpole Race (finishing third), he engaged in a spectacular duel with Razgatliouglu, which ended seven laps from the finish when the Turkish rider crashed at the first variant. "I believe that this is the most beautiful victory of the season so far," said Alvaro Bautista. "Together with Toprak, we put on a great show for the fans in attendance and for all the supporters. I'm sorry he crashed because I would have liked to fight him until the end despite knowing I wouldn't have a chance. I'm overjoyed, particularly for the team. Let us enjoy our vacation in peace." Danilo Petrucci finished second thanks to his Ducati's superior acceleration.
