Milan is gearing up for a fashion week full of runway debuts. From Simone Bellotti (Bally) to Peter Hawkings (Tom Ford) to the highly anticipated Sabato De Sarno (Gucci), there is something for everyone. These are some of the names - all in their first season as creative directors - that will pique the interest of critics and the press during the next edition of Milano Moda Donna, which will take place from Tuesday, September 19 to Sunday, September 24 and will feature 60 physical fashion shows. Among the 'debutants,' Hawking will present the first collection following the acquisition of the Tom Ford brand by the American beauty conglomerate The Estée Lauder Companies. After just over a year under the leadership of Rhuigi Villaseor, the Swiss fashion house Bally has entrusted Bellotti with the leadership of its Design Studio. De Sarno's debut for Gucci is undoubtedly the most anticipated: with his first collection, the Italian designer is expected to'satisfy' the market's extremely high expectations, especially after the success of the Alessandro Michele era. Finally, among the debuts will be The Attico, the brand founded by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, which will present its garments on the catwalk for the first time on the fourth day of the Mfw. The proposals of Avavav, Giorgio Armani, and Francesca Liberatore, as well as the usual green event Cnmi Sustainable Fashion Awards, will round out the week's events.
