Miguel Bosè was the victim of a violent attack at his home in Mexico City, where a group of 10 armed people held him and his children for more than two hours. "Dear friends, Friday night a commando of 10 armed people broke into my house, attacked us, tied up my children, the house staff and me for more than two hours," the singer recounted on his Instagram account. The artist, who has made it clear that he will not leave Mexico, said everyone is fine, even though the thieves took "everything, including the car" and that everything seemed "very well thought out and meticulous". Bosé asked his fans not to indulge in speculation, especially after some newspapers had said he would leave the country, where he has lived since 2018. According to reconstructions, the criminals allegedly surprised Bosé on the ground floor of the house while his children were in the upper ones. They would later lock him in a room along with his children and domestic workers. Jewelry, cash and an SUV in which they fled were stolen. So far, authorities in Mexico City have not commented on the matter although, according to some media reports, the singer would not press charges for the attack.
