The investment portfolio of H14, the holding company of Silvio Berlusconi's youngest children, namely Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi, is expanding into the pharmaceutical sector. The investment vehicle participated in a $12 million round of Qualifyze, a German startup specializing in auditing for the pharma sector. The company reached a valuation of $100 million thanks to the $12 million round in which investors such as HorbourVest Partners and HV Capital took part in addition to H14. Other investments pursued by Luigi Berlusconi with H14 are innovation gems such as Bending Spoons (the Italian startup famous abroad for its apps), Trade Republic (the German fintech with a valuation of more than 4 billion euros) or even insurtech Wefox and cloud-based B2B payments platform Tradeshift. There are also other stakes in companies such as Virtuo, an app that allows people to rent a car for medium periods directly from their cell phones, and France's Ornikar, which offers online driving school courses. Such investments are bearing fruit. As revealed by MF-Milano Finanza, dividends of 15 million euros (5 million each) have come in for Barbara, Eleonora, and Luigi from equal stakes of 33.3 percent each in Holding Italiana Quattordicesima and H14. The latter ended 2022 with a turnover of 451 million euros.
