On August 28, Giorgia Meloni, speaking of reforms, announced that the constitutional reform measure is ready. "I carried it out after a lengthy period of listening to parties, constitutionalists, economic categories, and labor unions. I will then present the text to the Council of Ministers after a few minor alterations have been made." This was stated by Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati at Affaritaliani.it with respect to the Constitutional reform text. "It will undoubtedly be present at one of the upcoming Councils of Ministers, though at this time I am unable to say exactly when. Rather than rushing, I prefer to be cautious with the timing and weigh the content." Following approval by the Council of Ministers, the text will be forwarded to Parliament. "It will be a model of 'Italian' premiership," Casellati explains, "and I hope that we can find a point of convergence with the other political forces and thus a broad consensus in the Commission as well as in the Chamber. I am confident in the collaboration of all parties," concludes the Minister of Reforms.
