The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, an icon of the 1960s, reputed by many to be among the most beautiful cars ever, comes back. After more than 50 years, the House of the Biscione re-enters the world of custom-built cars with the slogan 'daring to dream' and a limited production run of only 33 examples, all of which were sold in just a few weeks. The new version of the Alfa 33 Stradale - unveiled at the Arese Museum on the eve of the Monza GP - was born in the Touring Superleggera body store in Rho (Milan), the newly established Bottega Alfa Romeo where designers, engineers and brand historians first listened to potential buyers and then built it together "with maniacal attention to detail", as happened in Renaissance craft stores or in the workshops of famous Italian coachbuilders in the 1960s. "We wanted to create something that would live up to our past, something that Alfisti could be proud of. It is the brand's first fuoriserie since 1969, and I promise it will not be the last", stressed Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of Alfa Romeo. The fuoriserie, which can be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine of more than 620 hp or in an electric configuration of more than 750 hp, has an aluminum chassis and carbon fiber monocoque and comes in three different body colors: the classic Rosso Alfa pastel, a reinterpretation of Royal Blue, but also the more refined red named Villa d'Este.
