The seventh edition of Bolle di Malto 2023, the largest national exhibition dedicated to craft beer and the promotion of its culture in all aspects, officially kicks off in Biella. Until September 4, Biella becomes the Italian Capital of craft beer with 8000 square meters of exhibition space, craft breweries from 20 Italian regions, more than 300 styles of beer, more than 100 varieties of street food and 2400 minutes of live music. More than 100,000 attendees were registered in the previous edition, and this year as many visitors from all over Italy and abroad are expected again, aiming to far exceed last year's estimates. The numbers for 2022 speak for themselves: 45,000 liters of beer dispensed, 80,000 glasses tapped, 30 speakers for the States General of Beer, 40 hours of live music and 5 foreign languages spoken (English, German, Spanish, French and Dutch). On the program this year are hundreds of craft beers from all over the country, quality street food, live music with local, debut and national artists, meetings with experts and taste workshops where you can experience local and national gastronomy. If the street food offers the best regional and gourmet specialties, the concerts and live entertainment will lend themselves every evening to be the fundamental basis for tasting the beers in the square at their best, while the courses and tastings will be the ideal meeting point between experts and enthusiasts; during the cultural and territorial promotion events, on the other hand, the destinations of artistic-cultural interest that most enhance the local and regional context in which the event is set will be promoted.
