Top 150 Italian Wines in American Restaurants, a special ranking created by wine2wine of Vinitaly in collaboration with Somm.ai, the largest American database in the world of wine and spirits lists sold on premise, analyzed the positioning of the main 150 tricolor wines on the stars and stripes restaurant menus. According to the Brunello di Montalcino Wine Consortium, 17 wineries are in the catering ranking, with a total of 12,228 references on the menu and prices that are almost all in the triple digits: they range from a maximum of $ 1,213 to a minimum of $ 90 per bottle. The United States is the first foreign market for the Tuscan denomination, accounting for approximately 30% of cross-border sales and forecasting a 29% increase in value by the end of 2022.
