The relaunch of Victoria's secret, the lingerie label that has had difficult years behind it, will have an important stage in Italy, where entrepreneur Antonio Percassi brought it in 2015. The businessman now has 23 stores nationwide, led by the mega flagship at the Galleria del Corso in Milan. It will be precisely in Milan that, during fashion week, the new Icon collection will be launched, which takes up historical models of the label launched in the U.S. by Roy Raymond in the 1970s, an entrepreneur who, according to legend, went in vain in search of underwear for his wife Gaye. Starting with an $80,000 investment would see the brand grow to over $8 billion in sales, only to experience financially complicated years starting in 2017. The appointment in Milan is for 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, with special icon Federica Pellegrini in attendance. Business company Percassi has been chosen as the sole franchising partner for Italy, Spain and France, and currently operates outlets beyond the Italian territory, including the large store in Madrid. The Icon by Victoria's secret features top talents such as Adut Akech, Hailey Bieber, Paloma Elsesser, Sui He and Emily Ratajkowski, as well as the return of Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel.
