Another case of femicide. Marisa Leo, a 39-year-old Sicilian employee of the "Colomba bianca" wineries, was the victim. Angelo Reina, 42, killed her with a rifle before taking his own life by shooting himself with the same weapon and driving off a fifty-meter-high highway viaduct. Despite a four-year-old girl, there is a tormented, difficult relationship in the background. Behind the dramatic epilogue is a stalking complaint filed by Marisa Leo in 2020 as a result of her ongoing disagreements with the man, the owner of a nursery in Marsala. When authorities discovered the man's body and car, they began to look into his identity. He was immediately discovered to have been reported for stalking by the woman. Marisa Leo was then pursued by the investigators. They tried calling her but were unsuccessful. The president of the winery where he worked was also notified. Until the dreaded discovery: at Angelo Reina's family nursery, police discovered the woman's car and her lifeless body lying in a pool of blood.
