Final approval in the Chamber for the bill against gender violence, which intervenes on one of the aspects defining the procedure to be followed in proceedings for crimes of domestic and gender violence (the so-called Red Code): the obligation for the public prosecutor to obtain information from the injured person or the person who reported the facts of the crime within three days of the crime report's registration. The rule states that if the magistrate assigned to the investigation fails to meet the deadline, the public prosecutor may revoke the assignment and take information from the injured person or person who has filed a complaint directly or through assignment to another magistrate of the office.
