The Guardia di Finanza detected and stopped an international drug trafficking in the port of Salerno perpetrated through a cargo of cover (work shoes) coming from Panama and destined for a company with declared headquarters in Milan, inside which 104 cocaine bricks were concealed. Observation, control and tailing services initiated at the port, supported by remote sensing , made it possible to monitor, in real time, the pickup and delivery operations of the cargo, as well as to identify a warehouse in San Giorgio a Cremano (Naples) as the place of delivery of the narcotics. At the warehouse, the Naples and Salerno provincial Guardia di Finanza Commands seized 122.8 kilograms of cocaine and arrested a 38-year-old man from Cercola (Naples). The seized narcotics have a retail commercial value of about 30 million euros.
