Leonardo Del Vecchio passed away 15 months ago, but the Luxottica founder's legacy is still unresolved. Dividing everyone seems to be the inheritance taxes amounting to about 110 million euros. The story is told by the daily newspaper Il Corriere della Sera. The first chapter closed with the transfer of shares in Delfin, the Luxembourg-based safe, assigned to the eight heirs, each with 12.5 percent. Among them are their children Claudio, Marisa and Paola, born from their marriage to Luciana Nervo, Leonardo Maria (had by his widow Nicoletta Zampillo), and Luca and Clemente (had by partner Sabina Grossi). However, the question of the distribution of inheritance taxes remains open, which must be calculated taking into account that two houses belonging to Delfin and valued at 77 million euros went to Zampillo. CEO Francesco Milleri was given 2.15 million euros of EssilorLuxottica shares with a value of 270 million euros, while others were left to manager Romolo Bardin. With the inventory now completed, the heirs would still not reach an agreement. Only in June, Leonardo Maria had confided to Corriere, "If I think that we have not yet managed to close the succession, honestly, I am ashamed".
