The fashion week starts in Milan with 176 appointments, including 62 fashion shows in presence and 5 in digital, 76 presentations, 33 events and some exhibitions. It gets into full swing with the big names: the first catwalks were by Iceberg, Antonio Marras, Fendi, Alberta Ferretti, Etro, Diesel and Roberto Cavalli. Thursday will be the turn of Max Mara, Genny, Anteprima, Prada, Emporio Armani, Moschino, Tom Ford and Aigner. On Friday, Gucci, Versace, Boss, Sportmax, Luisa Beccaria will take the runway. Saturday it will be the time of the collections of Ferragamo, Ermanno Scervino, Dolce&Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Jil Sander, Missoni and Philipp Plein. On Sunday, Chiara Boni and Giorgio Armani, Luisa Spagnoli and Hui (a high-impact Chinese brand) will take the runway. Monday will close Laura Biagiotti, but in a digital version. While waiting to see Gucci's first collection signed by new creative director Sabato De Sarno after Alessandro Michele's farewell, the first snapshot of the fashion house's new image on the newly launched jewelry campaign pops up. The protagonist is model Daria Werbowy wearing the "Marina Chain" collection, captured by the lens of photographer David Sims. Another debut is that of the U.S.-based Tom Ford, who under the leadership of new creative director Peter Hawkings parades for the first time in Milan.
