He pretended to commit suicide and fled to Patras, Greece. It is the story told by the Rai Tre program "Chi l'ha visto?" about Adamo Guerra, a representative of home items who was thought to be dead by his loved ones for more than ten years. Guerra had vanished into thin air in July 2013; at the time, he was living in an apartment in Imola, was separated from his wife Raffaella - with whom he had been married for 15 years - and had maintained an excellent relationship with her and his two kids, aged 12 and 16. "He was a loving father," Raffaella remarked on Tuesday's edition of "Chi l'ha visto". Despite her questions and misgivings, the woman never believed the suicide account, even though all the evidence seemed to lead in that direction. Adamo vanished unexpectedly ten years ago after spending three days with his daughters, whom he had accompanied to a figure skating competition. He had left aboard his black SUV, which was later discovered in a parking lot near the port of Ancona; within are all of man's electronic devices, from the computer to the cell phone. The RIS searched for blood traces without success, although investigators knew the man boarded a ferry destined for Patras but discovered no trace of him. The Bologna prosecutor's office closed the case in 2015, citing suicide as the most likely explanation. After years of uncertainty, the wife decided to end her search for her husband and file for divorce. The wife, on the other hand, was called by phone by her lawyer, who stated that Guerra was not dead at all, but was in Greece, specifically in Patras, and that I had applied to Aire, register of Italians living abroad, as an Italian citizen resident in Greece in February of last year. A program reporter went to the island to find the man and found him. However, the response to the questions was "Turn off the cameras and leave."
