It is displayed next to the Tower of Pisa and the Rialto Bridge in Venice. Composed of more than 2,000 bricks, it looks absolutely the same as the original. The historic Carrelli streetcar, which has been running on Milan's rails since 1928, is now on display at the Lego House in Billund, Denmark, as a symbol of Italy in the world. A recognition for Atm, the Milanese transport company, which has been at home in Denmark for 15 years, since it runs the Copenhagen metro. More than 2,000 bricks were needed for artist Luca Petraglia to create the work under the supervision and advice of Atm technicians. The Lego version of the car, also known as "Milano1928", was assembled in Atm's General Workshop, where every day the 125 Carrelli streetcars still in circulation are restored, overhauled and equipped with modern systems. Carrelli does not circulate only in Milan: in fact, it can also be seen on the streets of San Francisco, in Melbourne and displayed in a museum in Sydney. And it has also circulated in Brussels and Frankfurt.
