The extension of the First Home Mortgage Guarantee Fund is expected soon, a measure that, according to the survey commissioned by online comparator Facile.it to mUp Research and Norstat, now involves more than 210,000 young people under 36 currently looking for a property who said they would have to give up the purchase if the facility is not renewed. There are also many young people who, in order not to cancel their plans for independence, would be forced to revise plans by moving toward a smaller home (29 percent) or to a less attractive area (19 percent). About 100,000 of those may be even forced to seek parental intervention.
