Vibes. One word describes the Giorgio Armani collection, the last big name with which Milan Fashion Week dedicated to spring-summer 2024 ended. "With the word 'vibes' I wanted to collect colors, movement and represent structures that dance on the body," the designer explained. Almost ninety years of age, King Giorgio, the last specimen of an almost extinct species, namely the founders of the Italian fashion system as we know it, does not give up his say. He does so in the opening part of the fashion show, mixing bronze and silver, overlapping and interlocking volumes and proportions. At the end of the show, Armani looks beaming. "I've been saying it every which way for years, preaching in favor of less theatrical and more real fashion, and finally this season I've seen a healthy normality around. I'm happy about that".
