The Uffizi's Tik Tok progress is unabated. On June 2, last year, the Florentine Galleries reached a million likes on Tik Tok after posting a video celebrating pop diva Dua Lipa's visit. After only a year and a few months, the Uffizi's popularity on the popular platform has more than doubled, surpassing 2.5 million likes. A rapid and consistent expansion, which is also ensured by the museum's most recent experiment on the platform: direct cooperation with creators under the age of 30. The Uffizi hosts young Tik Tok influencers in its locations at least once a month and collaborates with them to create videos for their various channels. In the ranking of the world's largest art museum complexes on social media, the Uffizi, with 2.5 million likes, is second only to the Prado, which has 4.5 million likes and is ahead of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, which has 2.4 million. The National Gallery in London and the Metropolitan Museum in New York have 1.5 million visitors each, followed by the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, which has 985 thousand.
