Employment in Italy rises again. The suppuratingly minimal (+0.1 percent) increase of August has brought the employment rate to 61.5 percent. In absolute terms, there are 59 thousand new jobs, growing mostly among 25-34 year olds and those over 50. The inactivity rate is stable at 33.5 percent. The data, released by ISTAT, put a smile on Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's face: "Fostering conditions for those who create work is the lighthouse of our government action and I am happy with the trust that businesses are placing in us. The new employment data released by ISTAT encourage us to do even more. Now let's keep up Italy run".
