Three other plantigrades were later discovered dead in Val di Sole, on Mount Peller, and in the Cavedago area. On September 27, the bear F36 was discovered dead in Val Bondone, having been deemed accountable for fake attacks in Sella Giudicarie region between late July and early August. The bears JJ4, believed to have fatally injured the runner Andrea Papi on April 5 in the woods of Caldes in Val di Sole, and M49, the bear of daring escapes and lengthy transfers, are presently confined at the wildlife center in Casteller.
