Interventions amounting to 27 million euros for the replacement or repair of vehicles damaged by last May's flood and 5 million euros for fragile families residing in the flooded areas of Emilia-Romagna. This is stipulated in the resolution by which the first tranche of resources earmarked by the region to support some of the categories affected by the May floods is allocated. Specifically, all those who have replaced or repaired damaged or wrecked motor vehicles, mopeds and motorcycles due to the flood will be able to participate in the "Bando Autoveicoli" (“Motor Vehicle Ban”). Contributions will be 3,000 euros or 5,000 euros depending on the ecological class of the vehicles (the higher the class, the higher the contribution). As requested by citizens' committees, contributions are also planned for those who have sold the vehicles. For the repair of the vehicles, on the other hand, the amount provided will be around 2,000 euros. Coming to the issue of support for fragile families, 5 million euros are planned to be allocated through municipalities to families residing in the flooded area to pay rents and utilities, activate honor loans, provide shopping vouchers for the purchase of food and basic necessities, social-educational support, school and educational activities, and other support measures for people in fragile and disabled situations.
