The cyclonic vortex Medusa will reach our country today. Most exposed will be the Northwest, much of the Alpine compartments and the central and southern Tyrrhenian regions, where locally up to more than 2 to 300 liters of rain per square meter could fall in a very short time, that is, the equivalent of the expected rainfall in more than 2 months. As IlMeteo.it forecast website reports, the bad weather will continue throughout Saturday: Cyclone Medusa, in fact, will not be able to move away from Italy immediately and will give rise to new significant rainfall and thunderstorms. Only from Sunday will the weather picture show signs of recovery, although this will probably be a flash in the pan, as the coming week looks to spend under the banner of a weather context that is far from calm. Beware also of winds that will strengthen further from Libeccio on the Tyrrhenian side and from Scirocco in the South and on the Adriatic side, with the risk of strong sea storms and the phenomenon of high water in the Venetian lagoon.
