Halfway along the path defined in September 2015 by the UN General Assembly for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Italy appears "off track" with respect to the 17 goals (the Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs) that we have committed to hit by the end of this decade. These are the less than flattering conclusions reached by the ASviS 2023 Report presented yesterday in Rome. While for six targets the situation has even worsened since 2010, for three it is stable and for eight the improvements are small. Looking at the 33 targets that can be assessed with quantitative indicators, only for eight will the value set for 2030 presumably be reached, for fourteen it will be very difficult or impossible to reach it, for nine there are contradictory trends, and for two the lack of data prevents a judgment from being made.
