Yesterday, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met at Palazzo Chigi with a delegation of family members of the victims and hostages of the brutal Hamas terrorist attack on October 7. During the meeting, the Prime Minister listened to the stories of the family members and expressed her deep dismay at the ferocity with which Hamas attacked unarmed civilians, house by house, not even sparing women, children and the elderly. Meloni renewed the government's solidarity and closeness with the State of Israel, reiterated her deep concern for the hostages and confirmed her commitment to their immediate release.
