There are around 300,000 individuals in our nation who are ignorant that they are infected with the HCV virus and have not yet been treated, a record number of hidden cases in Europe that keeps us far from the WHO's objective of eradicating Hepatitis C by 2030. As a result, the digital campaign "A Disease with a C" was launched yesterday with the goal of enlightening Italians via an artificial intelligence-powered poll. The program includes a website wholly devoted to the illness, with preventative information and resources, as well as contact information for the center nearest to your house. Last but not least, a social campaign on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok will be launched to reach even the youngest. The scientific organizations AISF (Italian Association for the Study of the Liver), SIMIT (Italian Society of Infectious and Tropical Diseases), and Anlaids Onlus are providing support for the six-month-long campaign.
