Andrea Arrigoni, aka Shiva, was arrested yesterday in Milan. According to investigators, the 24-year-old Milanese rapper is seriously suspected of the crime of attempted murder, carrying a firearm and dangerous explosions. The investigation had stemmed from a shooting in Settimo Milanese, in the Milanese hinterland, on the evening of July 11, during which two young Milanese men were shot in the legs. Officers responding to the scene had found only one of the two wounded men, a 24-year-old man, at the scene, who refused hospitalization because he had suffered a slight abrasion on his leg. Shortly after the shooting, another young man had presented himself in the emergency room of Vimercate Hospital with a gunshot wound to one leg, claiming to have been wounded by five unknown assailants. Subsequent investigations conducted by the Milan Mobile Squad through technical activities, analysis of numerous videotapes and the acquisition of statements from persons with knowledge of the facts, allowed the assault to be reconstructed. The two young men, after a disagreement grew via social media within the Milanese trap scene, allegedly attempted to attack Shiva and his friends outside the "Milano Ovest" record label, which produces the Legnano-born artist, receiving an armed response from the rapper and his acolytes. Numerous searches were then conducted against people involved in the episode, some of whom are under investigation, and at the record company of the rapper, who is now in jail in San Vittore.
