Matteo Bocelli received enthusiastic applause onstage at the Teatro San Babila in Milan and the Teatro Ghione in Rome for the two Italian performances of his world tour "A Night with Matteo," which coincides with the release of his debut solo album "Matteo." In an intimate and engaging setting, the artist, accompanied on stage by Valerio Carboni and a string quartet, alternated his songs (from "Tempo" to the latest single "Fasi," not to mention "Chasing Stars" written for him by Ed Sheeran and his brother Matthew) with songs that, as he himself stated, have influenced his life since he was a child, including "She" and "Caruso." A major surprise occurred during the live performance in Milan: Andrea Bocelli accompanied Matteo on the piano as he played "Perfect Symphony" (whereas the roles were reversed for "Fall on Me" with Matteo at the piano, thus narrating an enduring tale in which music has consistently played a central role).
