Milan, Padua, Turin, Rome, Bari, Naples, Bologna, Udine, Verona, and Catania are the 10 Italian Tech Cities from which 81% of employment offers in IT & Technology come. A third of it originates from Milan, while nearly a fifth comes from Rome. Wage disparities persist: the average income for the middle-level profiles studied ranges from 51,400 euros in Milan to 39,000 euros in Catania. However, because to remote employment, the disparities between cities are gradually diminishing. Tech Cities is a study sponsored by Experis, a ManpowerGroup brand. According to the survey, the three most sought-after profiles in Tech Cities are Java Developer, Data Scientist/Analyst, and SAP Manager, albeit there are substantial disparities between cities. Profiles specializing in Cyber Security are constantly in great demand, confirming a continuing trend: IT security, data management, and the proper use of digital infrastructures are among the company's goals and are increasingly linked to brand reputation.
