A new plant near the port of Corigliano Calabro and the strengthening of the Vibo Valentia plant. These are the two cornerstones of the 60-million-euro investment plan of Baker Hughes, a U.S.-based technology company serving energy and industry that designs, manufactures and delivers cutting-edge technology solutions. Baker Hughes, whose managers met in recent days with the top management of the Calabria Region, presented an investment plan that aims to further strengthen and expand its presence in Italy, where the company already has eight sites from North to South and more than 5,500 employees, with a billion euros invested in the last five years between research and development activities and in our plants. The facilities built in Corigliano will be the backbone of a concentration of cutting-edge technology that meets the growing global demand for liquefied natural gas.
