The CGIL and UIL unions have called a 4-hour strike for trains, buses, metro, and ships on Friday. The outcome of the injunction, ratified by Transport Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, was a halving of the protest's duration in the transportation sector. This was in accordance with a specific request from the Guarantee Commission and two trade unions' prior communication stating that the entire air transport sector would be excluded from the day of protests organized against the maneuver of the Meloni government.
