The 2023-2024 ski season is just around the corner, and the Vipiteno-based High Technology Industries (HTI) Group, which includes the cable car companies Leitner, Poma, Bartholet, Prinoth (snow groomers), and Demaclenko (snow systems), is taking stock of what it has been provided to ski resort owners around the world. In Italy, 12 new cableways have been installed, and there are 89 ski lifts worldwide, with North America accounting for one-third of them. HTI expects to conclude 2023 with €1.3 billion in revenue and over 4,300 workers worldwide. A new cable car in the Bressanone-Plose area is among the new additions, as are others for the Colere Ski Arena, the Campiglio - Dolomiti di Brenta ski area, and the mountain slopes of Andalo, not to mention the multi-seater chairlifts at Passo Tonale, Colere, Zoldo, Ovindoli, and Folgaria. North America is a critical market for the Italian multinational. For instance, Utah, New Mexico, Ontario, and Colorado have all constructed new facilities. Cable cars manufactured in Italy are also available in China, South Korea, and Uzbekistan. The Group has also supplied over 700 new and used Prinoth snow groomers, as well as orders for the EMotion electric model.
