The Italian energy company Saipem has introduced the first psychological desk that can also be used in the metaverse, available free of charge and anonymously to its employees. It is a professional space for immersive and personalized listening and support, available among the services of Saipem's "Smart Clinic", the new medical point opened at the Milan headquarters. For the past few years, companies have introduced the figure of the psychologist in the company, but the novelty introduced by Saipem is the possibility of carrying out the interview also in a virtual environment, thanks to the use of visors worn by both the patient and the specialized psychologist. Service users are then projected into the environment that best suits their psychological characteristics, allowing them to break down the superstructures of the real world and creating a condition of maximum comfort, in contact with their own emotions. The virtual space is constructed by the specialist on the basis of the patient's psychological profile to create a deeper and more personal experience: the interview can take place, for example, in a verdant park, by the sea at sunset or in a mountain chalet, that is, in the psychological setting that makes it more natural to open up to sharing and dealing with problems inherent in the work sphere or in the family and personal sphere.
