"Since we took office, we have been working, step by step, to put those who produce at the center and make the state an ally of those who create wealth and jobs. We have enacted the tax reform that Italy has been waiting for for decades and that has some basic goals: to reduce the tax burden and to rebalance the relationship between the taxman and the taxpayer. We are quickly approving the implementing decrees, and among the most innovative rules we have introduced is the two-year arrangement with creditors for smaller taxpayers with business and self-employment income, a possibility hitherto precluded to them. We then chose to put more money in payroll and support new job creation. With this maneuver, we have confirmed the cut in the contribution wedge for employees with incomes up to 35,000 euros and introduced the principle of "the more you hire the less you pay”, that is, a super deduction of 120% of labor costs for companies that hire on a permanent basis and increase their employees compared to the previous year. Super deduction that rises to 130 percent if you hire mothers, young people, disabled people and former citizenship income recipients". These are the words of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a video message sent yesterday to the Assembly of Confartigianato Imprese.
