Seventeen Grand Prix wins out of twenty, plus sixteen Sprints out of nineteen in MotoGp 2023. Seven out of eight riders with at least one success between Sprint and race, eight out of eight - and therefore all bikes - at least once on the podium. The constructors' title won for the fourth consecutive time, the memorable confirmation in the riders' one with Francesco Bagnaia. Plus, to leave others with only crumbs, the constructors' and riders' titles won (with Alvaro Bautista) in Superbike as well. That's what Ducati has achieved this year, the Italian “Rossa” that overachieves and everyone tries to imitate: it is no longer the Ferrari of Maranello but the Ducati of Borgo Panigale. Synonymous not only with style, but also with victory and avant-garde, from triumphs on the track to the enjoyment of fans when it comes to production motorcycles. It is in this synergy that Paolo Ciabatti, Sporting Director of Ducati Corse, has not even finished celebrating that he is already raising the bar for 2024, when Borgo Panigale will debut to win in the Italian motocross championship as well. "There is no such thing as the perfect bike," Ciabatti says, "but ours comes very close”.
