Undersecretary for Justice Andrea Delmastro delle Vedove has been remanded for trial by the Judge for Preliminary Hearings in Rome. Delmastro will have to answer, before the single judge of the Roman criminal court, for revealing a secret of office in the case of Alfredo Cospito, the anarchist detained at 41 bis regime who for months protested with a hunger strike. Last July, Judge for Preliminary Investigations Emanuela Attura had ordered the forced indictment, for the undersecretary of justice, after the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office had asked for the case to be dismissed believing the objective existence of the violation, but without evidence of the existence of the subjective element, believing that Delmastro was aware of the existence of the secret. For Judge Attura, however, who ordered the forced indictment, both would exist. The trial will begin on March 12. (Photo by dati.camera.it)
