On December 5th, Piazza SS Apostoli in Rome will serve as the focal point for protests around Italy in support of the national strike by doctors, health managers, nurses, midwives, and other health professionals. In fact, at 11.30 a.m., the labor unions Anaao Assomed, Cimo-Fesmed, and Nursing Up will conduct a sit-in protest against the economic maneuver and in defense of the National Health Service, as confirmed in a message yesterday. In attendance will be the national secretaries and presidents of the promoter organizations, who will unite in a massive demonstration while shouting, "Public health cannot be sold off, it must be defended".
